Celebrate Your Saggy Hangers!
After being asked to "show her Saggy Hangers," Emily knew she had to turn this phrase into a revolution. For far too long, women have been told to look or act a certain way to be powerful, sexy, or even seen. Saggy Hangers was born from a place of humor, rebellion, and heart to create something that pushes back against shame culture, ageism, and cookie-cutter beauty standards. Emily wanted to remind women (and men) that imperfection is divine and confidence is contagious. To teach not only her daughters, but all daughters, that it's ok to be a cultural disruptor, to celebrate self-expression, and to challenge the status quo. To let them know that they don't have to shrink, filter, or smooth themselves into acceptance. As a woman, mother, and artist, Emily wants to bring this ideology into tangible form, through wearable art and merchandise that makes people laugh, think, and feel.
We've been stretched, tested, pushed - but we don't fold.
We carry weight, history, and truth.
We don't run from life - we wear it.
This isn't fashion. This is freedom disguised as clothing.
